My Story

I’m Haley and like many of you, I’ve always loved dogs. I started by training my childhood dogs to find their toys in the house and as I got older, I began to dogsit for friends and family and built a little clientele from there. However when I adopted my first dog as an adult, I realized how much I had to learn. I adopted a 10 month old belgian malinois mix, she had endless energy and was determined to break out of her crate every day. I started looking up trick training videos on youtube, and started trying them out with Sage. I found out how much she loved to work and how much I loved to train with her. This sparked an interest for me, I wanted to study more on how dogs think and learn. Luckily I had met a girl who was studying dog training through a program called CATCH. Through CATCH I studied dog behavior, safety practices, managing risk, and how to read and interpret dog body language. After graduating CATCH, I’ve been teaching private lessons since early 2023 and developing training plans to work towards my clients goals. I’m passionate about teaching owners how to let dogs think for themselves and give guidance on how we can live more harmoniously with our furry friends!
